Conceptual Brand Identity

Goal

Create a conceptual brand identity for an ice cream shop. Go beyond just creating a simple logo by doing intensive research and exploration. Ultimately developing an audience, personality, and values in relation to the brand and it’s intended use.

Project Statement

With this being a conceptual project I had a bunch of freedom. The combination of research and intense ideation led me to make certain decisions. I outlined many areas including Brand Voice/Mission, Logos, Colours, Typography, Illustrations, Social Media, Business Cards and more.

Ideation

There is a ton of brainstorming and research that goes into the brand identity process. I went through much trial and error but had one mission in mind for what I wanted the brand to be: Funky and fun, referring to both the atmosphere and flavour choices. With this in mind I was able to hone down on a specific look, colour palette etc.
